PixMino

Privacy

The short version: your images never leave your device, and PixMino doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising.

Your images

When you add an image, your browser reads it from your device and processes it locally with built-in web technologies (Canvas, Web Workers and Blob). The image isn't uploaded: PixMino has no server that receives images, and the site's Content Security Policy blocks the page from sending data to other websites.

Images, results and thumbnails exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open. Removing them, starting over or closing the tab releases them. ZIP files are built on your device. PixMino doesn't save your images anywhere except the files you choose to download.

Photo metadata

Files created by PixMino contain only the image. EXIF metadata from the original, such as camera details, the date and GPS location, isn't copied to them.

Codecs and offline use

Some formats need extra code: the HEIC decoder, the AVIF encoder and decoder, and a WebP encoder for browsers without one. They're downloaded from PixMino's own domain the first time you use those formats, like any other part of the website.

To work offline, PixMino may keep its own files, such as pages, scripts, fonts and codecs, in your browser's cache. That cache never contains your images. You can clear it at any time from your browser's settings.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

PixMino doesn't set cookies and doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and will describe exactly what is collected and why. Images and file names would never be part of it.

Server logs

PixMino is hosted by Cloudflare. Its servers may keep standard access logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to keep the service running and secure. These logs do not contain your images.

External services

PixMino does not load third-party scripts, fonts or images. Fallback codecs are downloaded from this site's own domain when needed.
